Veteran Registration Ivan Nelson Inaugural Memorial Fishing Classic

Ivan Nelson was a staunch supporter of our country and our veterans.  We are proud to be able to continue to support his memory with this fishing tournament for many years to come.  Hence this will be the Inaugural Ivan Nelson Memorial Fishing Classic.

The main purpose of this tournament will be to provide Ambulatory and Non Ambulatory veterans without boats a chance to spend a day on the water fishing in a real tournament.  Of course, we all expect to have a good time as well. Veterans wether seasoned fishermen/women or complete amateurs will  be paired up with Professional Anglers and shown the tips and tricks of being a productive fisherman. It will be an early start and finish before noon so get rested. Fishing gear and tackle will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. This will be a no cost event and all Veterans are Welcomed.

This event will be held in late August with a final date to announced once a few details are ironed out. We will post a complete itinerary when it becomes available. We will be preparing for 60 spots with 10 of those being Non Ambulatory. The event will use a sign up page and eligible applicants will be selected in the very near future so please check back or subscribe below for updates. We are all excited about hosting this event and we hope you are too.
